Suvarnabhumi Airport is located 25 km from the city center and serves many cities such as Athens and Thessaloniki with stops. The connection of the airport with the city is done by bus (airport express 4 €),( train airport rail link, 2,50 € or by taxi and costs approximately 14 €).
From Don mueang airport, move to the city center by bus (A1, A4), since there is no railway connection with the city.
Transportation within the city is achieved through the public transport network. The means of transportation are not very convenient in the chaotic city. Choose to travel with the BTS, Sky train and MRT rail systems that connect most areas of the city. Alternatively use buses or trams, taxis (with the taximeter activated, or the famous tuk tuk tricycles, for city trips. Alternatively choose a boat or riverboat for trips on the Chao Phraya River.
