Antiparos, the small one and beloved one of the Cyclades
A favorite destination for happy holidays, Antiparos will enchant you with its beautiful beaches, blue waters, picturesque alleys and whitewashed chapels. The island, located very close to the popular island of Paros, has retained its authenticity and character and is a refuge for visitors who want to enjoy this little paradise in the center of the Cyclades.
If you want to experience the beauty of the island and be enchanted by exotic beaches that are not accessible otherwise, take the island boat tour. One thing is for sure, the island will steal your heart with its simplicity and the Cycladic beauty. And if you meet Tom Hanks in its picturesque alleys, it’s because for years he chose Antiparos as his own little paradise.
Taste the cuisine of Antiparos
Antiparos followed the path of self-sufficiency. It could not be an exception to the rule of the island’s isolation. The antipariotic cuisine is based on the products of the sea and the land: lots of fish, less meat, legumes and cheeses accompanied by wine or local tsikoudia.
Best time to visit Antiparos
An island like Antiparos remains beautiful all year round, however it depends on whether you are looking for a quiet holiday so it is best to avoid the crowds of July and August and prefer May, June, September and October, which are also nice months-with great weather conditions.
