Enjoy the excellent cuisine in Kimolos
With the raw materials of their place, the locals prepare in the taverns and restaurants great tomato meatballs with sun-dried tomatoes and mountain capers, local delicious goats with bun (pasta reminiscent of tagliatelle), saganaki and melopites.
Do not leave the island if you haven’t tried the ladenia, the local pizza with tomato and onion, but also their famous cheese pie.

How to use transportation in Kimolos
Port transfer options
The island is not connected by air with the mainland, as it has no airport. But you can go by airplane to Milos and take a ferry to the island.
By boat, Kimolos is connected to the port of Piraeus, with several itineraries in the summer and the surrounding islands.
Local transportation
To discover Kimolos, there is a small local bus that runs from the port and the village to the beaches and a taxi to the farest beaches. But if you stay more than 3-4 days, we suggest you bring your car or motorcycle or rent on the island, in order to explore as many places as you can!
