Zagorochoria, a dream trip to a mountain paradise!
Nestled amidst fir and pine forests, Zagorochoria boasts forty-six villages with stone houses, perched amphitheatrically between Mitsikeli and Tymfi mountains. Framed by the Vikos ravine, this Greek mountain haven offers an idyllic nature escape. Each village exudes unique character, harmonizing stunning landscapes with Zagori architecture—stone and wood structures, cobbled streets, and stone bridges. Explore West Zagori's Aristi, Megalo, Mikro Papigo, or Central Zagori's Monodendri and Dilofo.
Wander cobblestone streets, admire gray stone mansions, discover ancient churches, and sip fresh water from ornate fountains. Traverse Vikos Gorge, a profound chasm, and raft down Voidomatis River. Ascend to mythical Drakolimni at 2,050 meters for eagle-eye views. In Zagorochoria, timeless allure and wild panoramas collide, offering an unforgettable communion with nature's artistry.
