Transportation in Kerkini
Go by car through the provincial road Thessaloniki - Kilkis-Serres or the EO Thessaloniki - Serres to the intersection of Strymonikos and from there left to Kerkini. By intercity KTEL buses travel to Heraklia and Sidirokastro and then by road to your destination.
Public Transportation
The wet habitat of Kerkini enables movement in various ways. Organized excursions with 4x4 jeeps, horse riding, canoeing, cycling and boating in the waters of the lake, are combined with beautiful walking routes.
