Transfer from/to Kalamata
There are two ways to reach Kalamata, either by car or by bus from Athens (238 km away) or by airplane, since Kalamata has its own airport located 9 km west of the city.
To get from the airport to the city, you can use buses that take you to the center of Kalamata or take a taxi.
Public transportation
The city has a good bus network. The buses operate dense routes with 7 lines, serving the transport of residents and visitors in almost all the city.
