The local cuisine of the area offers a wide variety of flavors and dishes from excellent quality ingredients. The local meats stand out, cooked in many variations, hunting, the wide variety of pies (masondra, traditional vegetable pie with corn flour porridge), the excellent dairy and cheese products, (galotyri) and the cooked ones, accompanied by crayfish local tsipouro. Spoon sweets served with strained yogurt complete a menu of high standards.

Go to the area of Tzoumerka by road. From Thessaloniki, via Egnatia Odos to Ioannina and then through the provincial road Ioannina - Pramanta. From Athens to Arta and from there via the provincial road Arta-Pramanta. The area is also approached by bus routes starting from Ioannina.
