Visit the Austrian city all months of the year. In winter the temperature may be low but Christmas in Salzburg is fairytale with the white veil of snow on the buildings, the wooden Christmas markets and the festive mood. If you prefer the summer months, you can attend the classical music festival.

The size of the city center allows it to be explored on foot. However, Salzburg has organized buses and trolleys that cover all its destinations. Ticket prices start at 1.80 euros for one-hour trips.
