Thessaloniki:
It is very easy to fall in love with the city of Thessaloniki. It has beauty, history and culture, amazing cuisine and, of course, amazing views of the Thermaikos Gulf.Its rich history spans 23 centuries, which you can discover through its monuments that will take you from the Roman to the Byzantine period and from the Ottoman period to the present day. Admire the Roman Agora, the Navarino Square with the Kamara and the Rotunda, as well as the Ottoman monuments in Venizelou and Louloudadika, the Vlatades Monastery and the countless Byzantine churches.
Kavala:
Kavala is a beautiful city, amphitheatrically built, with a gorgeous harbour teeming with life and smiling and hospitable people. The city is ideal for endless walking, both on its coastal front and in its unique and picturesque alleys, waiting for you to explore it, while the beauty of the Acropolis and the Castle is special, giving the visitor the feeling of a unique journey through time.
Istanbul:
Between two continents and two seas, lies Istanbul, the much-hidden mistress of the Bosphorus. Historical, modern and traditional, this exotic oriental with its westward-looking gaze and lusty atmosphere manages to evoke the strongest feelings in every visitor. The richness of its historical monuments, its natural beauties and the picturesqueness of its districts highlight its timeless splendour and make Istanbul the place where contrasts and differences are expressed in the most fruitful way.
Dekeli:
Snaking its way along the beautiful coastline of Turkey’s seafront city of Dikili is a lush landscape of green forestry and expansive golden sands. Sparkling crystalline turquoise waters complete the captivating scenery. Here you have the opportunity to visit the Ancient Pergamon and the ancient Acropolis. The remains of the healing temple of Asklepion is the final stop of the day.
Kusadasi:
In Turkey’s picturesque seaside resort of Kusadasi, St Paul wrote a letter to the Ephesians and preached at the Great Theatre of Ephesus. The second-largest city of the Roman Empire is also the home of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World – the Temple of Artemis. You will learn about this and more on our tour to ancient Ephesus and the city of Miletus.
