Hong Kong Skyline

The Big Buddha
The 34-meter-high Big Buddha is located in the Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island, which was a fairly secluded place until the statue was built in 1993. It is one of the largest Buddha statues in the world and took 12 years to complete.
