Asamkirche

The beautiful Rococo Asam church, dedicated to St. John of Nepomuk, was completed in 1746 by brothers Cosmas and Egid Asam and is richly decorated with frescoes and oil paintings. Its exterior is quite impressive but mainly its interior.

BMW Museum

Marienplatz - Neues Rathaus

Marienplatz has been Munich's main square since its inception. In addition to the huge Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall) that fills an entire side of the square, you will find the Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) which forms a gate at the end.

The stadium hosted the 1972 Olympics and its design was revolutionary and futuristic for its time. The amazing, and inspired by the Alps, transparent acrylic glass canopies are the trademark of the Olympic Stadium.

Frauenkirche

Frauenkirche - the Cathedral of Our Lady - was completed in 1488, a Gothic church owing its fame to its large size. Huge twin towers 100 meters high, with the characteristic domes of the Renaissance and the tower 109 meters long and 40 meters wide.

Munich Residenz

For centuries, the location of the dukes, elections and kings of Bavaria, it has been one of the most impressive palaces in Europe. The huge Residenz complex includes: the Königsbau, which leads to Max-Joseph-Platz, the Alte Residenz, opposite the Residenzstrasse and the Festsaal Bay, overlooking the Hofgarten.
