Table Mountain

Standing at 1,087 meters south of the city centre, Table Mountain is a constant reminder that nature is queen in this stunning seaside town. Created from sandstone and slate, the mountain forms the northern end of the cape peninsula and is located within the Table Mountain National Park.

Kirstenbosch National Botanic Gardens

In a beautiful setting on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are a World Heritage Site of the Cape Floristic Region. The gardens were founded in 1913 to preserve the indigenous flora of the country, one of the first botanical gardens in the world created with this purpose.

The most iconic and glamorous beaches are along the Atlantic sea bed: Clifton, Camps Bay and Llandudno are beautiful coasts - especially if you love watching the sunset.
