Walk in Dapia
A meeting point of locals and tourists is the port of Dapia, where once there was the artillery of Spetses and there are still captain's houses, such as the mansion of Bouboulina, the mansion of Mexi and the Korgialenios School.
Beaches
There are several beaches on the island of Spetses. Near the port you will find the beach of Agios Mamas and Agia Marina. A little further the beach Vrellos, Ag. Anargyroi and the green beach of Zogeria and Ligoneri.
Lighthouse
One of the oldest lighthouses in Greece is in Spetses. It started operating in 1837. It is located on the far right of the old port. Its splendor reaches 18 nautical miles and is a good reason for a walk on the pine-covered hill.
The city of Spetses
From Dapia you can walk up to Kastelli, the old town with the beautiful mansions and the wonderful view of the island. Go west to Kounoupitsa, and you will end up at the historic Anargyreio and Korgialenio School.
