"The Hour" Clock
A trademark of Arachova, the famous Clock, also known as "The Hour", has a long history, most notably the earthquake of 1870 and the explosion by the Germans in March 1944, but still stands proudly at the top of the village.
To the alleys
Get lost in the wonderful alleys of Arachova. If you dare you can climb the 264 steps to the church of Ai Giorgis, the view to the fir-covered slopes of Parnassos will reward you. Look for the 12 fountains of the village as well.
Parnassos Ski Center
One of the main reasons to visit Arachova in winter is its proximity to the Parnassos Ski Center. The center has 19 slopes, 7 ski runs, 10 trails and 3 small beginner slopes. The altitude ranges between 1,600 and 2,300 meters.
Galaxidi
One of the most beautiful cities in Greece is a special destination all year round. Take a walk in the two natural harbors, Agora and Chirolakas and in the imposing captain's houses. Visit the Naval Museum and learn the naval tradition of the place.
Delphi
Only 11 km from Arachova is the most important archeological site in Greece. Visit it to see the temple of Apollo, the navel of the earth. Do not miss the visit to the Museum of Delphi to see the shocking statue of Iniochos.
