Mauritshuis
The beautiful Mauritshuis, a monumental but elegant mansion built in a classic style in 1641, serves as one of the most important museums in The Hague. Highlights include a small room containing valuable items as well as many paintings.
Peace Palace
Peace Palace is a building that houses the International Court of Justice. The building was built in 1913 and features a fantastic and detailed neo-Renaissance design with a large bell tower and ornate arched façade. The interior of the palace contains many beautiful statues and busts of notable people such as Gaddy and Nelson Mandela.
Ridderzaal
At the eastern end of the Binnenhof's central courtyard, the 13th-century Knights' Hall (Ridderzaal) is an impressive historic building still used for state receptions and for the opening of parliament every September.
The Binnenhof
The Binnenhof is the oldest parliament in use in the world. It was originally built in the 1200s. Today you can enter the Binnenhof and its grounds, and admire the stunning architecture and history of the buildings, including the legendary Knights Hall, where the Ridderzaal is located.
