The canals

On foot, a bicycle or a tourist boat, you can explore the beautiful canals, with the sloping buildings, the architecture of which gives a different character to each canal. UNESCO has even declared the Canal District of the city, a world cultural heritage as the first artificial canal district in the world.

The Museums

At the famous Museumplein, "Museum Square", see the Van Gogh Museum. It houses more than 200 paintings and 550 drawings by the Dutch painter and of course the Rijksmuseum, the largest museum in the Netherlands, with works by Rembrandt, Vermeer and other "craftsmen" of the 17th century.

At Jordaan

Of Amsterdam's most artistic neighborhoods, only immigrants and poor workers lived here. When it was decided by the authorities not to demolish the district, but to highlight its special character, artists and the bohemian community of the city gathered here, creating a lively and fresh neighborhood.

Vondelpark

The most famous park in the Netherlands is the greenest part of the city. Its English-style gardens, lakes, bridges, paths and sculptures will make you feel well. In the park there is an open-air theater, a playground and various facilities for food and drink.
