Tοurism Awards 2023

With a glittering ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Athens, some of the most important initiatives in Greek tourism were celebrated on 27/04.

The Tourism Awards are the most important awards in the Greek tourism market and highlight quality and innovation in the individual sectors of Travel, Hospitality and Leisure.

The Silver Award was awarded to our company mazi travel & events in the category Sustainability, Sustainable Tourism Development for the thematic tourism product Imathia, As Slow As Possible (Imathia A.s.A.P.) - A New Slow Tourism Destination. Imathia A.s.A.P. offers new tourism experiences, perfectly harmonized with the spirit and principles of Slow Tourism. The services provided by this new tourism product cover the 4 basic categories of services of a complete tourism product: transport, accommodation, food and activities. The tourism packages are based on sustainable development practices, are thematically designed and take into account not only the practical needs of the visitors but also the emotional and spiritual requirements and needs. In this way, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the essence of the cultural and environmental elements that Imathia and Pieria offer.

Care will be taken to ensure that the value-added services offered to visitors will provide meaningful experiences in their lives and spirits. The design of tourism products will promote the character and culture of Imathia and Pieria in an authentic way.

For this product, 10 different packages have been created, focusing on the different types of visitors seeking new experiences, Slow Tourism. Different lengths of stay, many accommodation and Slow Travel options and a variety of choices in Activities that have been planned to satisfy even the most demanding visitor.
