Skiing Abroad: The Best Destinations for 2025

There are many ski resorts in Europe for every skier and budget. Whether you want large slopes and a social atmosphere, or peace and family-friendly resorts, Europe offers it all.

With the family
Skiing with the family outside of Greece requires planning. Champoluc in Italy is quiet, without mass tourism, and ideal for families. It has a daycare for children and affordable food. In France, Vaujany combines a traditional village with modern amenities and quick access to the slopes.

In France, La Tania offers easy babysitting services and access to Trois Vallées, with 175 ski lifts, 300 slopes, and 130 km of cross-country trails.

Baqueira in the Pyrenees is an excellent choice for families, beyond the classic ski resorts in France, Austria, and Italy. At Baby Baqueira, children enjoy the snow safely, while for those who don’t enjoy skiing, there are other activities. Adults can enjoy skiing on and off-piste, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and the snow park, and there are also more affordable accommodation options.

A more budget-friendly option is Jasná in Slovakia. It offers modern lifts, good slopes, and the Fun Arena, where from Friday to Sunday night, you can enjoy sledding, snowbikes, hot wine, and music. You can also ski on empty slopes before they open to the public.

Additionally, Grandvalira in Andorra offers easy slopes for beginners and the Easy Way for intermediate skiers. If you're looking for a challenge, the Fun Way with red slopes is perfect for more experienced skiers.
