Athens - Lefkada - Kefalonia - Ithaki

Upon your arrival at the Athens International Airport, our assistant will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you will have some free time to make a first connection with the Greek capital. We recommend taking a walk to enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Athens, exploring the lively neighborhoods, and experiencing the local culture.

After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Athens to explore its iconic sites. Your expert guide will take you to the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. Continue your tour and pass by the Prime Minister's residence (Old Royal Palace) guarded by the Evzones in their colorful uniforms.

Visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament, and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier. Explore the Academy, the University, the National Library, and Constitution Square (Syntagma). Then, head to the Acropolis to admire the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens, including the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and the Parthenon. The evening is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. We recommend taking a tour to Cape Sounion to witness the breathtaking sunset over the Aegean Sea.

After breakfast, you will be transferred from Athens to Lefkada, a journey of approximately 360 km that takes around 4 hours. Lefkada is an island connected to mainland Greece by a bridge. Upon arrival in Lefkada, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Today is a leisure day for you to enjoy the highlights of Lefkada. The island is renowned for its exotic beaches, including Porto Katsiki, Kathisma, and Egremni, which offer stunning natural beauty. Explore the charming seaside villages of Sivota, Agios Nikitas, and Vassiliki, where you can have lunch at local taverns and wander through narrow streets filled with shops offering souvenirs and local products.

Overnight in Lefkada.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port of Nydri to board a ferry to Kefalonia. Upon arrival in Kefalonia, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Enjoy a leisure day exploring the highlights of Kefalonia. Visit the famous Myrtos, Antisamos, Lourdas, and Skala beaches, known for their crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port to board a ferry to Ithaki. Upon arrival in Ithaki, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Today is a leisure day to explore the highlights of Ithaki, the homeland of Odysseus in Greek mythology. Visit the picturesque town of Vathy, located in the Bay of Molos. Discover the Cave of the Nymphs, where, according to mythology, Odysseus hid a treasure. Explore the Monastery of Kathara, known for its exceptional views. Visit the villages of Kioni and Frikes, the site of Pilicata (one of the supposed sites of the palace of Odysseus), the Fountain of Arethusa, and the Cave of Eumeus.
