The Acropolis, the Ancient Agora, the new Acropolis Museum, Plaka, the historic center are the main places you can admire the history of this city. Start from the Rock of the Acropolis and admire the creations of the golden age of Pericles. In this island-continent, the largest of the Greek world, the refined civilization that enlightened Greece and its islands was born and flourished, as evidenced by the site of Knossos. The Cretan landscape offers a variety with its rugged mountains, deep gorges, peaceful bays and fertile lands, astonished, surprised and delighted.

Itinerary
Arrival in Athens
Upon your arrival at Athens airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Athens. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore the city at your own pace. We recommend taking a walk in the evening to enjoy the lively Athenian nightlife.

Panoramic tour of Athens
After breakfast, embark on a half-day panoramic tour of Athens. Visit the iconic Acropolis, where you can admire the masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens, including the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion with its Caryatids, and of course, the Parthenon.
During the city tour by bus, you will also see various highlights of Athens, such as Constitution Square (Syntagma), the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Parliament, and the neoclassical buildings along Panepistimiou Avenue (the Academy, the University, and the National Library). Other landmarks include Hadrian's Arch and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. You will also make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896.
After the tour, you will have the afternoon free to explore the city on your own.

Athens - Free day
Today is a free day for you to enjoy Athens as you wish. Take a stroll through the charming streets of Plaka, the old Athenian quarter, filled with traditional restaurants serving delicious Greek dishes and the famous drink "ouzo." Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this neighborhood.

Athens - Epidaurus - Mycenae – Olympia
Depart from Athens and head towards the Corinth Canal, where you will make a short stop for photos. Continue to Epidaurus, famous for its ancient theatre known for its exceptional acoustics. Afterward, visit the charming town of Nafplion.
Next, proceed to Mycenae, where you will explore the Citadel and the tomb of Agamemnon. Finally, journey to Olympia, located across the Peloponnese. Arrive in Olympia in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Olympia – Delphi
In the morning, visit Olympia, the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games. Explore the archaeological site and museum.
Afterward, depart for Delphi, passing through the picturesque plains of Ilia and Achaia. Cross the large bridge of Rio, connecting the Peloponnese with mainland Greece (Antirio), and pass by the charming town of Nafpaktos.
Arrive in Delphi in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Delphi – Meteora
Explore Delphi, one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece, known for its Oracle of Delphi. Visit the archaeological site and museum.
Next, depart for Kalambaka, a town situated at the foot of Meteora, known for its stunning scenery.
Arrive in Kalambaka in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Meteora – Athens
Visit Meteora and its monasteries, remarkable monuments of the Byzantine era perched atop massive rock formations.
Return to Athens, passing through Trikala and Thermopylae, with a brief stop at the monument of King Leonidas.
Arrive in Athens in the afternoon and overnight at the hotel.
Athens – Heraklion
After breakfast, transfer to the port to board the ferry to Heraklion, Crete. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Heraklion. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in the vibrant city of Heraklion.

Heraklion – Knossos (Optional Tour)
Today, you have the option to join an optional tour to explore the wonders of the Minoan civilization. The tour includes a visit to the Minoan palace of Knossos, the mythical Labyrinth of Homer, and the Archaeological Museum in Heraklion.
Alternatively, you can spend the day at leisure, exploring Heraklion on your own.

Elounda – Agios Nikolaos (Optional Tour)
Enjoy a free day in Heraklion or opt for an optional day tour to Elounda and Spinalonga Island. The tour includes a boat trip to the island of Spinalonga, known for its Venetian fortress. You'll also have the opportunity to visit Agios Nikolaos, a picturesque seaside resort on the Gulf of Mirabello.

Rethymno
Today, depart for Rethymno. Spend the evening at leisure in this charming city.

Sea and Mountain Excursion - Sfakia - Fragokastelo (Optional Tour)
Today, you can opt for an optional excursion to Sfakia and Fragokastelo. The tour includes a visit to the village of Sfakia, tasting the famous "pita Sfakiani," a traditional pie with honey from the region. You'll also have free time to swim at Fragokastelo.
Alternatively, you can enjoy a free day in Rethymno.
Overnight in Chania.
Chania – Excursion Cretan Panorama (Optional Tour)
Today, you have the option to join an optional excursion to discover the traditional villages of the west side of Crete. The tour includes a photo stop at the fortress of Aptera and a visit to Argiroupolis, known for its natural springs. You'll also have free time to explore the village and taste local products.

Enjoy a free day in Chania to relax or explore the city further.
In the evening, board the ferry from Chania to Piraeus (Athens).
