Athens- Mykonos – Santorini

Upon your arrival at Athens airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Attica Riviera. Depending on your arrival time, you will have some free time to get acquainted with the Greek capital. We recommend taking a walk in the evening to enjoy the vibrant Athenian nightlife.

After breakfast, embark on a half-day panoramic tour of Athens. Your expert guides will take you to see the iconic Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. Enjoy a short stop here to take in the historical significance of the stadium.

Continue your tour and pass by various landmarks of Athens, such as the Prime Minister's residence (Old Royal Palace) guarded by the Evzones in their colorful uniforms, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament, the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, and the National Library, all situated along Panepistimiou Avenue.

The highlight of your tour will be the visit to the Acropolis, where you can admire the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens. Explore the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion with its Caryatids, and finally, the Parthenon, often referred to as the monument that "puts the mind in order."

Afterward, visit the Acropolis Museum, where the ancient statues found their home at last, and admire the wonders of the classical era.

The evening is free for you to explore Athens at your leisure. We recommend considering a tour to witness the beautiful sunset at Cape Sounion.

You have the option to revisit some of the sites that interest you or simply stroll through the picturesque streets of Plaka, the charming old Athenian quarter. In the early morning, you will be transferred to the port of Athens to board the ferry to Mykonos. Upon your arrival in Mykonos, you will be transferred to your selected hotel. The day is at leisure for you to enjoy the unique architecture of Mykonos. The island offers a mix of cosmopolitan shops, lively bars, quaint windmills, beautiful beaches, traditional taverns, and hidden churches, all surrounded by stunning blue waters.

Today is a free day for you to explore and enjoy the charm of Mykonos at your own pace. Alternatively, you can join an optional tour to discover the countryside of Mykonos Island. The tour includes visits to the idyllic Agios Ioannis beach with its breathtaking view of Delos Island, the traditional village of Ano Mera with its 16th-century monastery Panagia Tourliani, and Kalafatis beach for relaxation.

After the tour, explore Mykonos town, famous for its narrow cobblestone streets, windmills, Little Venice, Paraportiani church, and Saint Nicholas church. The walking tour will be followed by free time for further exploration on your own.

These days are at leisure for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful island of Mykonos. You can choose to spend your time exploring the island's vibrant towns, relaxing on its sandy beaches, or joining optional tours to nearby Tinos Island or Delos Island.

At the indicated time, you will be transferred to the port to board the ferry to Santorini. Upon arrival in Santorini, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel. The day is at leisure for you to explore and enjoy the unique beauty of Santorini, known for its magnificent views, cosmopolitan shops, lively bars, charming taverns, and hidden churches, all set against the backdrop of the brilliant blue sea.

We will start with a visit to the Akrotiri Archaeological site with a licensed guide at one of the most important prehistoric settlements of Greece. Akrotiri is a Bronze Age settlement on the volcanic island of Santorini (Thera). The settlement was destroyed by a huge eruption during the 17th century BC and buried under the volcanic ash, which preserved the whole city in perfect conditions so as to be referred often as “Prehistoric Pompei” The settlement has been suggested as a possible inspiration for Plato's story of Atlantis. The site has been excavated since 1967. (Guided Tour 1 & ½ h) Entrance Fees are not included in the price. We will continue with Red Beach, where we will have some free time for photos or for a walk along the coastline. Soaring red lava cliffs drop right to the sandy shore and into the clear blue sea. We will continue with the premier Perivolos black sand beach, which offers a big variety of restaurants, taverns, cafes, beach bars & watersports and is an ideal destination for those who want to combine relaxation, swimming & good food. Time at leisure for lunch or swimming (1 & ½ - 2 h ) (Lunch is not included in the price). We will take part in a walking tour at Megalochori, one of the most beautiful traditional villages on the island. Typical traditional Cycladic houses, neoclassic buildings, and small houses dug in the volcanic rock blend together with harmony, where we can also the typical small white churches with blue domes. Profitis Ilias mountain: The highest peak of the island (567 meters) is located between Pyrgos and Kamari. The Mountain took its name, Profitis Ilias, (Prophet Elijah), from the Monastery, located at the top. From this vantage point, you will enjoy a striking view of the entire island, from the patchwork agricultural plains to the hilltop village of Oia. (Photo stop 20 min).

A day at leisure in Santorini or you can join an optional Caldera half-day tour with a Catamaran. You can also visit by boat Therasia island, a beautiful small island across Santorini that will leave you speechless.

At the indicated time you will be transferred to the port for your ferry to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, you will be transferred to your selected hotel.

According to your flight schedule transfer to the airport and have a safe flight back home.
