Ithaka does not have its own airport. It is served by that of Kefalonia. However, in Anogi of Ithaka there is a helipad for private or chartered helicopters.
The main ports of Ithaca are Vathy, Pisaetos and Frikes.
The Ferry connection Patras – Ithaka runs daily and the trip lasts around 3.5 hours.
The ferry connection Kefalonia – Ithaka is served about 3 times a day from the port of Sami to Pisaetos. The boat trip from Kefalonia to Ithaka takes 20-30 minutes.
The ferry connection Nidri Lefkada-Ithaka is served every day during the summer season and the journey takes about an hour and a half.
